Every year, millions of tourists visit Croatia. And when they arrive, they need internet. Fortunately, HT has an excellent offer for tourists — 10 days of flat internet for 10 euros. But with this great offer came a significant challenge. We needed to create a campaign that would run simultaneously in 11 languages across 13 countries, with a message equally relevant to everyone — regardless of linguistic or cultural specifics.That’s why we decided to use a language everyone understands: the language of internet memes. We adopted the format of the well-known “In X country we don’t say” meme, in which people from different countries humorously showcase the peculiarities of their language and culture, to show that in Croatia, people don’t enjoy only the sun and the sea. Because with our leading network, people here also enjoy super-fast and super-reliable internet.
