If you work hard through the year, autumn brings you fruits. Last night at the Outward we brought home 6 awards:
mstore campaign was the best in two categories: billboard series and citylight series. RBA sarma is the best megaboard, and RBA citylight at the tram station is the best single citylight. Majlonke won the prize for best use of outdoor media and silver in the billboard category.
Let's not forget the friday's Effie awards as well, because we once more confirmed that we are efficiently creative. We won the bronze for Majlonke and

And so passes the first idejaX! Besides the hangover, we picked up a pile of awards and were most pleased by the Gold for the finest work in the beverages category for the Pan TV commercials; the Gold in the fashion, health and beauty category for the Maralys print ads; the Gold for the black and white issue of 24sata in the media and publishing category; and perhaps our favourite one - the Gold for the integrated campaign awarded for "To all who like to play" and the Croatian Lottery. Together with the other finalists, this was just enough for a great third place on the total agency chart.
Almost as good, we got some cubes for Imago analogue forward (gold) and RBA image spot and campaign (two bronzes).
And now, back to work!

At the festival of creative communication, the Judgement Day (Sudnji dan) of creativity, we were judged soundly and well. On the proud chest of Vanja Blumenšajn shone the Order of the Creation of the Year, with two great honours for a great work. The listing of Ženska soba (Woman's Room) ad was judged to be the best print ad, and the same ad was awarded with the best use of new media.
Congratulations to all the other winners, especially Luka Zima (the best music in TV or radio ads), and Sven Pepeonik (the best cinematography in a TV ad), who worked with us on the TV commercial for Kraš Bajadera.
Our wish is for an even better festival next year, and we hope we're destined to see you there next year.

Imago's entry at the annual Art Directors Club Croatia awards was most impressive. The Zagreb Volunteer Centre poster earned the Gold in the Poster/Billboard/CityLight category, while a Gold was also awarded to the "Bring the problem into the light" print ad for Ženska soba (Woman's Room), while Imago's New Year's card received the Silver in the Other category.
Besides the awards we also received tickets for the Barcelona event, where we will fight for ADCE Awards 2010. Keep your fingers crossed!
The ADCC Awards are the annual awards for best work in design, advertising and marketing communication in Croatia.

When your brand promises and calls for actions that blur faith in the afterlife, you wish to do something good and redeem yourself. Is there a better way than volunteering for the Volunteer Centre? Imago designed and produced posters and then spread them at high frequency locations throughout the city. Once a person passing by takes one and unwraps it, he can immediately glue it to the closest flat surface and, by doing so, sometimes even unconsciously, partakes in his first act of volunteering. To volunteer is simple and easy, and perhaps the easiest way for a person to feel good about themselves. Believe us, we did.

Last week Imagonation was delighted with the festival awards. At the largest European advertising festival, Dutch Eurobest, with over 4000 applications from 35 countries, the interactive print ad for Ženska soba (Woman's Room) won the Bronze in the 'creative use of media' category. This is the first award for Croatia at this prestigious European festival.
We also achieved excellent results at the Slovenian festival SEMPL, where the fastest growing Croatian Facebook application "Footbalise!" won the Gold in the hot Generation Y media category. The Cedevita GO! Facebook application and the award-winning print ad for Ženska soba (Woman's Room), which is raising awareness for non-physical sexual violence, also secured places in the finals of the competition.
In our troubled times, when recession, cuts in advertising and the twilight of creativity is on everyone's lips, these awards will be a great reminder that good creative work is now even more necessary.

Since their inception in 1968, the Effie Awards have become an international symbol for marketing effectiveness. The first Croatian Effie Awards were held on Friday, October 2nd in seven categories for the best national campaigns over the past two years. Imago also confirmed its effectiveness in this competition by winning the largest number of these prestigious awards: Gold for the RBA Vlatkica, , Silver for the "Watch your fingers" Kraš Tortica finger and , Bronze for the T-Com "Ivo" campaign, MAXtv Potatoeeees and another Bronze for the launch of the new Pan bottle.
