Since their inception in 1968, the Effie Awards have become an international symbol for marketing effectiveness. The first Croatian Effie Awards were held on Friday, October 2nd in seven categories for the best national campaigns over the past two years. Imago also confirmed its effectiveness in this competition by winning the largest number of these prestigious awards: Gold for the RBA Vlatkica, , Silver for the "Watch your fingers" Kraš Tortica finger and , Bronze for the T-Com "Ivo" campaign, MAXtv Potatoeeees and another Bronze for the launch of the new Pan bottle.

For Whom the Bell Tolls?

This year in Opatija, except with a hangover, we came back with a tone of Bells for our advertising and artistic work.

At the Festo, «fatal for fingers» tartlet Tortica Finger has bitten the silver bell for TV spot, a series of TV spots and the bronze bell for a series of prints.

Parents of our Zhao Mia may stop worrying because the radio ad for the Dorina rice picked up a silver bell. In the events category silver bell has become green from Greencajt, and the paper on which print ad for Pivac was awarded, the silver bell still smelled of dried meat.

That we know how to pack well shows the CroPak Award 2008 for Dukat + functional milk, that we received in the category of graphic design packaging, display and labels of Croatian products/series.

If only this ringing in my ears would finally stop...

Watch your fingers!

BJELOLASICA Croatian bowler with the most winning trophies and a member of the national bowling team Mate Keglević became a participant in the unusual event that threatend and potentially ended his career. „I was preparing for the world bowling championship in Caracas. After my fitness training, in the locker of my changing room I found tartlet Tortica white finger. Everyone knows that right after bowling my second love is white chocolate. The taste of crunchy white chocolate, which I enjoyed so much, turned into horror when I returned to the hall and tried to pick up the ball. The thumb and forefinger of my right hand disappeared!“ – Keglević said sobbing through tears. „After recovering, my best solution was to find a different career path in playing boules where I could set up new records“ – Keglević concluded. The news from the bowling team are: in sign of support , in the upcoming Championship in Caracas, the whole team will perform with black bowling balls.
