Challenge

To approach the Tuborg target audience (18-24) in an innovative and fun way by combining street marketing methods and traditional media.

Solution

Citylights in pedestrian zones at 7 busy Zagreb locations were transformed into Tuborg refrigerators. We installed real shelves, made door knobs and filled the shelves with Tuborg. At the end of the campaign, we opened the doors and allowed free sampling.

Result

Citylights caused a continued interest including the direct reaction of Tuborg lovers passing by. As well as positive commentary, letters and praise of this initiative, some citylights were broken into, and the thirsty passersby emptied the refrigerators. Creative use of this traditional media got the press interested, and after the first break in, a wave of related news articles followed.
